60 Day Course - January 9th, 2023 thru March 4th, 2023

Attendance - Monday thru Friday (10am to 6pm) Saturday (10am to 2pm)

Multiple instructors

This course will be limited to a class of 10 to ensure every student gets the attention and repetition needed

There will be a course test followed by scheduled certification test at the end of the 8 weeks

Attendance - Friday (530pm to 930pm) Saturday (10am to 6pm) Sunday (10am to 4pm) for 8 consecutive weekends

Properly getting yourself into position and a rhythm before, during, and after the catch for a safe and coordinated engagement/catch

Reading a Dog
-
Understanding the dog's body language and intent before the grip. Learning how to gauge their commitment
-
Learning how to direct the dog to your desired target. Keeping yourself and the dog safe by understanding how to read their direction before they move in that direction
-
Watching the dog’s eyes and head position and what they mean
-

Working Legs Body Positioning

Learning where to position your feet and hands both before and after the catch.

Body Posture

Learning how to move your waist, bend your knees, and how to use your entire body to direct and maneuver the dog

Activating your Body

Learning how to counter balance yourself with the dog, using your body, and opposing muscles to work with you

Anchoring your position, but also learning how to properly pivot and rotate your body (waist, legs, knees, arms, and shoulder) before and after the catch.

Using your entire body to work as a unit

Setting the Grip
